Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Process Controls Maintenance Technician II to join our team, bringing expertise in maintenance, including electrical/electronics, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, and fabrication. Candidates with military electronics technician experience are encouraged to apply, as these skills are highly transferable to this role.
The position focuses on planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance work orders to ensure the timely repair, installation, and maintenance of plant equipment. The technician will also conduct predictive and preventive maintenance activities to prevent unplanned breakdowns, working closely with operations and maintenance leadership to meet plant objectives.
Responsibilities:
Generate, manage, and close Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Work Orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Adjust work orders based on priorities and communicate changes effectively to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Assist in preparing the weekly maintenance work schedule in collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor and Operations.
Provide detailed insights on corrective work orders, including parts and material requirements, to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Participate in Predictive Maintenance activities, including vibration analysis, infrared scans, and oil analysis, to reduce unplanned equipment downtime.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to monitor and maintain the department budget and prepare necessary reports for compliance and budgetary needs.
Identify opportunities to schedule maintenance work during planned downtime to minimize disruptions to operations.
Assist with hands-on maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant maintenance experience
Expertise in electrical/electronics and controls, with strong troubleshooting skills
Proficient in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and fabrication systems, demonstrating multi-craft/multi-skilled capabilities.
Proven ability to train others and demonstrate leadership skills in project development and execution.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams.
Experience working with vendors and managing vendor relationships is a plus.
Familiarity with CMMS systems and ability to generate and manage work orders effectively.
Preferred Experience:
Previous work in high-speed filling or UP/UHT process environments.
Military electronics technician experience, which demonstrates adaptability to industrial maintenance roles.
Proven ability to lead projects and train team members in maintenance practices.
