job description:
Operate multiple friction & wear test rigs. Prepare test samples, collect and record data, track performance trends, interrupt test data and assess validation calibrate test equipment and upkeep of test equipment. Maintain test stand design and make enhancements as required by the project leader. Compose instructions and test procedures. Work closely and assists skill staff in performing work. Move materials and equipment as required for work operations. Operate simple computer programs using basic computer skills. Conducts routine tests following rigid written or verbal instructions. Maintain inventory levels for equipment and supplies. Maintain a clean work environment and complies with all safety regulations and standards for working around potentially hazardous materials during testing. Supports department projects activities as required relative to project demands. Follow and adhere to safety practices.
