Poly Fusion Training Instructor


Mission of the Position

The OQ & Poly Fusion Training Instructor is responsible for teaching Operator Qualifications (OQ) and Poly Fusion Training courses to customers using existing training materials, standard training methods, and knowledge of the company's products and services.

Essential Duties

Training

  1. Coordinate training activities and programs to ensure all participants complete OQ training within prescribed requirements established by program guidelines.
  2. Present information using a variety of instructional techniques, including computer-based training, group discussions, videos, and lectures.
  3. Facilitate traditional classroom safety training.
  4. Evaluate participants' knowledge using written or tablet-based examinations.
  5. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Coordination

  1. Communicate with the OQ & Training Admin to schedule training sessions.
  2. Maintain accurate records of completed training and attendance.
  3. Plan and schedule individual travel arrangements for training assignments, including transportation and lodging.

Non-Training Time

  1. Maintain training equipment and inventory for machines and materials used in training courses.
  2. Ensure standard training forms for courses are updated and accurate.
  3. Contact customers to gather feedback from services to determine future training needs.
  4. Provide internal training to company employees as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain new and relevant information for use in training programs and for company knowledge.
  2. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  1. This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Competencies

Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Certifications & Licenses

  • OSHA certification preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience and/or training in the construction, pipeline, or oil and gas industries required.
  • Intermediate computer and Microsoft Office skills required.
