Position Overview: The Marketing Director will drive strategic marketing initiatives, lead brand management, and foster innovation to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the CPG industry. This role demands a creative and analytical leader with a proven track record of success in marketing within the CPG space.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Lead market research efforts to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
2. Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of brand strategies to enhance brand equity.
- Manage product positioning, messaging, and packaging to resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure consistency in brand identity across all channels and touchpoints.
3. Marketing Campaigns:
- Plan and execute impactful marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and social media platforms.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to optimize ROI.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
4. Innovation and Product Development:
- Collaborate with product development teams to launch new products and line extensions.
- Drive innovation by identifying market gaps and consumer needs.
5. Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a key spokesperson for the company, representing the brand in industry events and media engagements.
- Cultivate relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8+ years of marketing experience within the CPG industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market research, and analytics.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and emerging marketing technologies.
- Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
