Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects with a focus on US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale government projects, with a deep understanding of USACE and NAVFAC processes, regulations, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Government Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to USACE and NAVFAC regulations, standards, and procedures. Navigate complex regulatory environments and coordinate with government agencies as required.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, manage resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimating, financial reporting, and controlling project expenses.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop and implement mitigation strategies, and proactively address any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets or exceeds project specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and reviews to monitor progress and quality.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, managing expectations, and maintaining positive relationships throughout the project.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, including progress, budget status, and any issues or changes.
  • Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager, with significant experience in managing USACE and NAVFAC construction projects.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of USACE and NAVFAC processes, regulations, and project management standards.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly desirable.
