Job Summary

This role requires working independently on moderate to complex tasks with minimal supervision. The position demands strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of accuracy and independence. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining SharePoint sites, collaborating with project managers to track project files, ensuring Teams and SharePoint are updated, and providing access to project documents. Advanced administrative support for the Construction and Project Management (C&PM) team is a key aspect of this role.

You will exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment, analyze conflicting demands, and make informed recommendations to management. The role also involves maintaining knowledge of various capital and O&M projects while effectively communicating and interacting with all levels of personnel in alignment with company core values.


Qualifications

Required Certifications:

  • PMP Certification: Desired but not required.
  • Construction Management Certification: Desired but not required.


Badge Type:

  • Green Badge Level 2: Requires completion of an ePHQ, a full background screen, FFD testing, and access authorization to designated areas.


Citizenship:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.


Schedule:

  • 4/10s plus outage schedule: Four 10-hour shifts with additional support during outages as needed.
  • Remote work not available.


On-Call Requirements:

  • Not required.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform tasks independently with limited supervision, including:
  • Supporting Project Managers in developing and maintaining SharePoint sites for accurate record retention.
  • Engaging with site users to identify needs and provide access to project files.
  • Uploading, organizing, and archiving project documents on SharePoint.
  • Providing user training for project staff and stakeholders.
  • Assist with project closeout procedures, including managing document duplication, scanning, and archiving.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees, including SSIS processing and scheduling training.
  • Ensure Teams and SharePoint platforms are updated and accessible for project staff.
  • Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups.
  • Participate in biennial refueling outage support.
  • Incorporate all processes and procedures supporting project startup and closeout phases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Education and Experience

(One of the following is required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in applied management, business, project management, or a related field, plus 2+ years of advanced administrative/technical experience.
  • Associate degree in a management, technical, or science-related field, plus 4+ years of advanced administrative/technical experience.
  • High School diploma/GED, plus 6+ years of advanced administrative/technical experience.


Desired Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Applied Management, Business, or Project Management.
  • Experience in the commercial nuclear power plant industry.


Required Abilities and Skills

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Keen interpersonal skills to foster teamwork across the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Asset Suite, and OneNote.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical aptitude to learn new software quickly.

Desired Abilities and Skills

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and human performance processes.
  • Previous administrative experience at a commercial nuclear site.
  • Knowledge of Energy Northwest records management processes.
  • At least 2 years of advanced document editing experience in Microsoft Word.


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, sitting, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to varying environmental conditions, including wet and humid areas, mechanical parts, and loud noise.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
