Systems Administrator – VMware / Windows Server
Job Description
The Systems Administrator will support a VMware virtualization environment, including the provisioning of virtual machines and applying patches and upgrades to the VMware environment. The role is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the health of the VMware virtualization environment.
Responsibilities also include supporting Windows servers in an enterprise environment, building and configuring Windows servers, installing and supporting enterprise applications, and creating implementation documentation.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field with 1–2 years of experience, or 5 years of professional-level experience in lieu of a degree.
- Technical certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- VMware certifications
- CompTIA A+
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Experience supporting Microsoft services in an enterprise environment.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds with assistance.

Work Schedule
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Days: Monday through Friday
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (in-office and work-from-home weekly schedule available)
