Position Overview:

Seeking skilled and detail-oriented A&P Technicians to join our maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) team. The A&P Technician will be responsible for ensuring safety and airworthiness of aircraft through expert maintenance, repairs, and inspections. This role involves working on a variety of aircraft and collaborating with a dedicated team to meet customer and regulatory standards. 


 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Aircraft Maintenance and Repairs:

·      Perform maintenance on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations.

·      Perform inspections, make adjustments and repairs, replace components, and correct any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to the aircraft.

·      Access and re-install aircraft components which obstruct the performance of assigned tasks.

·      Adhere to general work requirements.

·      Document work performed per OEM maintenance manual.

·      Assist with fueling/defueling aircraft as required.

·      Assist Avionics Technicians with troubleshooting and repairing aircraft.

·      Assist with repairs on components detached from the aircraft, for example, flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges.

·      Other Tasks as assigned.

 

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Comply with FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Complete all required documentation, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.

 

Workplace Collaboration:

  • Partner with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
  • Communicate findings, progress, and issues effectively to leadership.

 

Safety and Operational Standards:

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures, including the use of protective equipment.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Licenses/Certifications:
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
  • Experience:

o  Minimum five (5) years of aircraft electrical or mechanical system experience.

o  Preferred knowledge of business jets, i.e. Cessna Citation, Gulfstream, Lear 45, etc.

o  Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
