Job Title: Project Controls Specialist

Job Summary

The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for managing project cost, schedule, estimating, progress tracking, and change management throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures alignment with project scope and contract requirements while supporting efficient project execution and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
• Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress
• Support estimating and budgeting processes
• Ensure compliance with project scope and contract requirements
• Coordinate project priorities with team members and stakeholders
• Track performance metrics and provide projections
• Establish and maintain communication plans across project teams
• Follow up with team members on task completion and deadlines
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Support lessons learned documentation and continuous improvement efforts
• Administer project change control processes
• Monitor team performance and resource allocation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Experience with Microsoft Project is highly preferred
• Strong organizational and team coordination skills
• Ability to develop and improve administrative processes
• Strong task management and prioritization abilities
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a strong service mindset
• Experience in technical writing and process standardization preferred
• Valid driver’s license required (subject to MVR check)

Work Conditions

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Overtime may be required
• Position is considered safety-sensitive
