Job description:

Support temporary increases in electrical engineering tasks for ongoing projects. Process data compilations and report generation for chemical pilot plant. Pilot plant operator, outdoors, shift work will be needed from time to time 24/5 and 24/7. Work with operators to generate data and hydrocarbon/ chemical products. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Visio to document electrical drawings, input , tag ids, etc. Operation of chemical pilot plant to include: troubleshooting, installation of equipment, maintenance, (turnaround) assist with safety/ procedures and operating instructions, prepare samples, cleanup of pilot unit. Primary duties will be to work with the electrical team and support process development projects to improve operations and automations. Will be required to wire and install PLC, instrumentation etc. May be part of shift team in operating a chemical or petroleum pilot plant. troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• BS in Electrical Engineer or Chemical Engineering with interest in process controls required
• Familiarity with computer software and especially Excel, Word and Visio.
• Understanding of circuits (ChemE must have circuits elective and hopefully class on process dynamics and controls)
• Must be multi-tasking with ability to complete thermodynamics calculations while also being mechanically inclined to build process systems
• Shift work is required
• 2 years of experience with a BS is required
• Steel toed shoes required, hard hat and it is a safety sensitive position
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted

Monday - Friday but will have shift work 24/5 and 24/7 must be able to work a verities of shifts
