Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: San Antonio, TX

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Weekend and adjusted work schedules may be required)

Overview: We are seeking a diligent Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and safety of our laboratories. If you have a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude, we encourage you to apply.

Job Duties:

• Wash glassware and manage laboratory cleanliness.
• Supply distilled water for testing and manage chemical disposals and waste in accordance with safety standards.
• Replace waste barrels and solvent barrels as necessary.
• Follow precise written and verbal instructions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent as a minimum educational requirement.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to operate standard laboratory equipment and work with laboratory fume hoods.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry and lab Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is preferred.
• Must be a self-starter with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Steel-toed shoes required.
