Electronics Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to assist with the fabrication, assembly, testing, and installation of electronic components, wiring, and cable assemblies. This position requires the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and procedures while supporting both shop and field activities.

Essential Job Duties

• Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and testing of electronic components and cable assemblies.
• Perform mechanical placement of electronic components.
• Assemble wiring and cable harnesses.
• Provide field installation and testing support as needed.
• Read and interpret detailed schematics, engineering drawings, and work procedures.
• Use basic hand tools to complete assembly and testing tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school coursework, electronics training, or military electronics experience preferred.
• 5–10 years of related electronics experience.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with basic hand tools.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Overtime as needed

Dress Code

• Jeans and a collared shirt.
