Willing to go onsite once every week or biweekly for initial 3 months or so.


Compensation Structure: Salary + Commission

  • Year 1: Earn 8% profit commission on the account.
  • Year 2: Earn 4% profit commission on the account.


After the second year, if no significant changes or growth have been made to the account, it will transition to the Account Management team, and the Sales Representative will no longer receive commissions for that account.


This structure is designed to:

  1. Encourage Sales Representatives to actively engage with clients, drive account growth, and foster long-term success.
  2. Emphasize the importance of consistently bringing in new accounts rather than relying solely on a few large accounts.


We want our Sales Representatives to remain dynamic and growth-focused, continually seeking opportunities to expand their client portfolio and deliver value.



Outside Sales Representative Job Description 

An outside sales representative, also known as a field sales representative, sells products and services to customers outside of the company’s office. Their responsibilities include: 

              

Meeting with customers 

Outside sales representatives travel to assigned territories to meet with customers in person, by phone, or virtually. They educate customers, identify their needs, and close sales. 

                

Negotiating 

Outside sales representatives negotiate sales contracts and terms with customers. 

                 

Building relationships 

Outside sales representatives build and maintain relationships with customers. 

                 

Setting goals 

Outside sales representatives set and meet sales quotas and provide sales forecasts. 

                

Presenting 

Outside sales representatives present products or services to potential customers at conferences and conventions. 

                 

Maintaining records 

Outside sales representatives maintain sales activity reports and opportunities within the company’s CRM. 

Outside sales representatives should have excellent customer service, interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills. They should also be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Other qualifications for outside sales representatives include: 

  • Highly preferred to have previous physical security industry experience
  • Proficiency with technology and equipment 
  • Ability to travel frequently 
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods 
  • Self-starting personality 
  • Experience in sales, especially in a B2B environment 
  • Understanding of sales techniques and theory
