Role Overview

You’ll own the end-to-end development and execution of national and regional consumer promotions for leading beverage brands. As the strategic partner to brand and sales teams, you’ll craft mid-funnel marketing strategies, oversee agency creative development, and leverage data-driven insights to optimize every promotion.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promotion Planning: Lead the creation of annual and quarterly consumer-promotion plans across digital and in-store channels, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and sales targets.
  • Middle-Funnel Marketing: Develop and execute digital coupon campaigns, targeted rebates, sampling programs, and in-pack offers designed to drive trial and conversion.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Brief and manage creative agency partners, guiding the development of promotional assets (digital banners, social ads, in-store signage) and ensuring on-brand execution.
  • Performance Analysis: Collect end-and mid-campaign reporting from vendors, analyze redemption rates, volume lift, and household penetration, and present key learnings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a strategic consultant to brand, shopper-marketing, and sales teams—leading results reviews, refining promotion mechanics, and integrating feedback into future plans.

Strategic Objectives

  • Craft innovative digital-coupon and rebate programs that maximize ROI and shopper engagement across multiple channels.
  • Establish a clear performance-reporting cadence and use data analytics to continuously improve promotional effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Support broader brand-activation efforts by aligning promotions with seasonal marketing calendars and retail-partner initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • Industry Experience: 3–5 years in CPG marketing, with hands-on consumer-promotions or omni-activation—either agency or client-side.
  • Brand Familiarity: Proven track record managing promotions for national food & beverage brands (bonus points for dairy, plant-based, or RTD beverages).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).

Technical Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, pivot tables, and scenario modeling.
  • Strong data-analysis skills—comfortable with extracting insights from large datasets and presenting findings in dashboards or slide decks.
  • Experience with performance reporting tools or CRM platforms to monitor campaign KPIs and track budget compliance.

What We Offer

  • Flexible, fully remote work with East Coast core-hours alignment.
  • Opportunity to own high-visibility promotions for beloved beverage brands.
  • Collaborative environment with mentorship from senior Omni Activation leaders.
