Shop Welder (MIG/TIG) – Pipe & Pump Skid Fabrication

We are hiring a Shop Welder with MIG and TIG welding experience to work on pump skids, pipe fittings, and structural components in the HVAC industry. This position requires the ability to read detailed drawings and fabricate accordingly to complete projects accurately.

The ideal candidate has experience welding pipe on a positioner turntable and can produce high-quality welds while maintaining proper machine setup and temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on pump skids, piping, and structural components
• Weld pipe using a positioner turntable
• Fabricate components by reading and following detailed prints and drawings
• Ensure proper machine setup, welding temperatures, and weld quality

Welding Test (Required)

All candidates must pass a welding test, which includes:

• Setting up welding machines
• Demonstrating proper welding temperature and technique
• Producing quality welds
• Welding pipe on a turntable positioner
• 
  

Note: Candidates must bring their own welding helmet and gloves to the test.

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints and detailed fabrication drawings
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding
• Experience welding pipe on a positioner/turntable

Pay

• Hourly pay based on experience
