Pilot Plant Technician (R&D Support) – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Location: Louisville, CO

Schedule: M–Th, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)

Pay: $24.40/hr

Duration: 12-month contract

Work Type: 100% onsite

This pilot plant technician role supports product development, process improvement, and commercialization. You will run trials, work with R&D scientists, and help scale products from concept to production.

What You’ll Do

• Run pilot plant trials for new and renovated products
• Operate and maintain pilot plant equipment
• Partner with R&D on trial setup, execution, and data capture
• Document results and provide clear summaries
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Follow GMP, FSMA, and safety protocols
• Manage multiple trials and shifting priorities

What You Need

• 1+ year in food manufacturing, pilot plant, or lab
• OR degree in Food Science or related field
• Basic knowledge of GMP and food safety
• Strong organization and documentation skills
• Comfortable working on feet and lifting up to 50 lbs
