This is a direct-hire opportunity for someone who understands plumbing supply, can read plans/specs, and knows how to keep quotes, material availability, and project timelines moving in a fast-paced branch environment.

This role is ideal for someone coming from commercial plumbing supply, wholesale distribution, project quotations, inside sales/project management, or a plumbing/HVAC supply house where they have handled quotes from bid request through closeout.

Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 + 5% annual bonus

PTO: Negotiable PTO package

Benefits: Company-paid employee HMO health insurance, optional spouse/child coverage, optional dental and vision, and 401(k) with potential employer match

Responsibilities

Support the full quotation process for commercial plumbing supply projects, from receiving plans/specs through final quote delivery.

Review drawings, specifications, fixture schedules, submittal requirements, and project documents to build accurate material quotes.

Work closely with sales, purchasing, vendors, contractors, and customers to confirm product selections, availability, lead times, pricing, and substitutions.

Prepare and track project quotes, follow-ups, revisions, alternates, and awarded work.

Source plumbing products and coordinate procurement timing so materials are available when needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Support customers with quote questions, product availability, order timing, delivery expectations, and project changes.

Analyze sales, cost, margin, and expense information to support accurate pricing and business decisions.

Maintain organized quote records, bid logs, vendor information, and project documentation.

Support basic branch/project administration as needed, including A/R inquiries, vendor invoice support, deposits, and reporting.

Train or mentor junior team members on quotation process, product knowledge, follow-up discipline, and customer communication.

Look for ways to improve quote accuracy, turnaround time, tracking, and overall process efficiency.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in quotations, project coordination, inside sales, or project management within a plumbing supply, wholesale distribution, mechanical supply, or closely related construction supply environment.

Strong understanding of commercial plumbing products, fixtures, pipe, valves, fittings, and contractor purchasing needs.

Experience reviewing building plans, project specifications, schedules, or bid documents.

Ability to manage multiple quotes and projects at once while maintaining accuracy and follow-up.

Strong customer service, vendor communication, and negotiation skills.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, plus quote/order systems or ERP software.

Strong attention to detail with the urgency to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
