Senior Accountant
Location: White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO
Work Model: Onsite with potential hybrid flexibility
Type: 6+ month contract
Max Pay: $46.72/hr
Overview
This role is a key contributor to the corporate accounting and financial reporting cycle. The Senior Accountant is responsible for executing an accurate and timely month-end close, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and maintaining a high level of financial integrity across the organization. You will work closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional partners to provide clear financial insights, reliable reporting, and strong internal control support.

Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close and Reporting
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly close results
• Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Support quarterly and annual reporting cycles with required schedules and documentation
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analyses
Controls, Compliance, and Documentation
• Maintain and enhance internal control procedures
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, company accounting policies, and audit requirements
• Prepare reporting packages for Tax and other internal stakeholders
• Support audit activities by providing documentation and analytical support
Business Partnering and Analysis
• Provide ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to leadership and cross-functional teams
• Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support implementation of best-practice accounting workflows
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Accounting degree strongly preferred)
• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong understanding of IFRS and corporate financial close cycles
• Advanced Excel skills; ability to build and analyze models, datasets, and reconciliations
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across departments
