This position focuses on transportation electrification projects. Principal Accountabilities:
- Apply project management techniques to lead, plan, schedule, and optimize resources for large-scale construction projects.
- Ensure high-quality execution and resolve schedule delays and conflicts.
- Lead, mentor, and collaborate with diverse teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.
- Regularly monitor project progress and deliver status reports.
- Exercise sound judgment in decision-making, manage risks, and ensure compliance with all policies, laws, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain long-term project strategies and plans.
- Interface with stakeholders, project vendors, and management to ensure alignment and progress.
- Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to senior management and other groups.
- Align project activities with grant guidelines and ensure accurate reporting.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree: From an accredited institution in technology or business, with 10+ years of construction project management experience.

Associate’s Degree: From an accredited institution, with 12+ years of construction project management experience.
- OR

High School Diploma/GED: With 14+ years of construction project management experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in project management techniques, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve high-risk issues effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale construction projects, including:
- Planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while complying with safety and regulatory standards.
- Expertise in the construction bidding process and working with construction firms.
Desired Skills and Certifications:
- Experience with WSDOT NEVI (National EV Infrastructure) and ZEVIP (Zero Emissions Vehicle Infrastructure Program).
- Knowledge of site lease agreements.
- Thorough experience with state and federal grant compliance.
Project Management Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
