Reliability Lead (Maintenance Lead)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (2-2-3 schedule)
Openings: 1 – Hiring ASAP
Pay: $40.74/hour + $1.50 shift differential
About the Role
This position serves as the Reliability Lead for the night shift in a high-volume beverage manufacturing plant. You’ll act as the maintenance leader for your shift—overseeing assigned technicians, coordinating all maintenance activities, driving reliability initiatives, and ensuring safe, efficient equipment performance.
This is a union-classified role under the title “Reliability Lead.”
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead maintenance technicians on shift; delegate and oversee repairs, PMs, and installations.
- Complete and distribute end-of-shift maintenance reports (EOS).
- Communicate and escalate plant issues per established protocols.
- Train and develop technicians and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Review prior shift logs and hand off updates at shift change.
- Identify and schedule equipment improvements and corrective work orders.
- Participate in AM (Autonomous Maintenance) and predictive maintenance programs including vibration analysis, infrared scans, and oil analysis.
- Perform troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems (Allen-Bradley and similar platforms).
- Support reliability, safety, and quality initiatives across the plant.
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Electrical/mechanical background required; technical or apprenticeship training preferred.
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably with CMMS systems.
Technical Skills
- Strong multi-craft ability: electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication.
- Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and servo systems.
- Familiarity with plant utilities (boiler, compressed air, water treatment, refrigeration).
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and mechanical/electrical diagrams.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CMMS software.

- Base pay: $40.74/hour + $1.50/hour night shift differential
