The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in financial modeling and supply chain finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly close, forecast, and annual planning activities for warehouse operations.
  • Reporting & Variance Analysis:
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, summarize performance metrics, and explain cost drivers and variances.
  • Cost Forecasting:
  • Develop and maintain cost models for warehouse operations, including Pallets, Other Logistics Costs (OLC), and Loss & Disposal (L&D).
  • Operational Business Partnering:
  • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and influence financial outcomes.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across warehouse operations and logistics functions.
  • Month-End Support:
  • Assist in reconciliations, journal entries, and closing activities; manage tight deadlines and ensure data accuracy under time pressure.
  • Performance Communication:
  • Present financial results, forecasts, and risk assessments to operational and finance leadership teams.
  • Strategic Decision Support:
  • Model financial impacts of new initiatives, process changes, or supply chain decisions to guide business planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within supply chain, logistics, or CPG environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling, and automation).
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI, or other ERP/reporting systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and influencing non-financial partners.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Highly analytical with a process-improvement mindset.
  • Comfortable switching between big-picture analysis and transactional detail.
  • Strong communicator who can translate data into actionable insights.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to changing business priorities.
